4 channel 3G/HD/SD-SDI encoding.

M-JPEG, H.264 and H.265 HEVC ready at multiple concurrent bit rates and resolutions and supporting a number of transport protocols.

The 4 channel encoding unit has inbuilt routing capability enabling direct connection to wide area networks and VPN via both fibre optic and RJ45 ports.

Can directly power any supported LAN switch/router via PoE.

3G/HD/SD-SDI MultiEncode Rugged throw-down unit:

  • 4 channel* 3G/HD/SD-SDI encoding to H.264 (base, main and high level), h.265 encoding with main level.

  • 4 discrete encode profiles, bitrates and resolutions per channel (2 at full input resolution and 2 limited to 720p).

  • Encoding bitrate from 32Kb/s to 32Mb/s per encoded output.

  • Adjustable IBBP GOP key-frame structure from 5-300 frame interval.

  • Low latency encoding of 40ms, beneficial if paired with a supporting decoder, such as any limit 8 decoder.

  • Individual logo insertion per encoded output.

  • 2-Ch MPEG-1 Layer2/AAC-LC/AAC+/AAC++/Opus Audio Encoding per output.

  • Capable of outputting: RTP/UDP-TS (multicast or unicast), RTMP publish, RTSP, FLV, HTTP-TS, TS, HLS and SRT. Future development of zixi and RIST.

  • Capable of publishing to Wowsa, YouTube, or other CDN and file server.

  • Sports Stadium friendly MM or SM OptiCon LC fibre interface. (SingleMode/MultiMode dependent on internal SFP selection). all streams on one fibre.

  • EtherCon GigE interface for either Management or Transport Stream. Passive PoE output for self-powering supported PoE switch.

  • Single Ethernet/Fibre port operation, no need for Encoder switch.

  • Mains AC IEC or DC power input via 4-pin XLR, parallel power safe.
